Ministry Update……a word from Bill Maner

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters of Active Impact,

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here are a few updates on the Maner Crew:

  • This summer we moved to Laurel, MS.

  • Our kids are all adjusting to new schools and all are ramping up with basketball season.

  • Our oldest continues with college–be in prayer for her studies

  • Kim and I are at LCS teaching: Kim is part-time and I am teaching and coaching full time.

Active Impact International Updates

Be in prayer for Active Impact International as I continue to pray and seek to go full time in the ministry starting in the summer of 2026, Lord willing. Please continue to pray as we seek to raise support for this ministry.

Prayer Needs

  • Please pray for the ministry as we seek to pursue going full time. This will take time, and we are praying about possibilities,  next steps, and opportunities to partner and share the Gospel 

Support

  • We are seeking to raise $120K a year (this includes personal support, travel, possible internships, costs toward ministry projects–professional development, camps @ schools with needs)

  • Ministry Support, End of Year Giving, and Fundraisers

    • We hope to have a Spring fundraiser to help with our personal support (planning in the works)

Tentative Plans

  • We currently have 2-3 international mission trips planned for the summer to Guatemala (Basketball and VBS) and 1-2 with churches in the US.

  • Pray for local ministry possibilities in the Laurel area

    • Through basketball

    • Hispanic community outreach

    • Working with those in need through local churches

Pray for us as we seek what the Lord has in store for us. Join us as we seek and pray to share the Gospel and be of His service!

How You Can Support This Mission

As we step out in faith, we need your prayers and support to make this mission possible.

🙏 Prayer: Please pray for wisdom, provision, and the impact of this ministry. Pray for partnership opportunities and as we plan for the 2026 year. Pray that the Gospel is shared and that God is glorified!

  • Praise: our home sold in Bolton!

  • As we plan for the year—we have some great opportunities nationally and internationally with our basketball ministry–pray for these partnerships and that God is glorified. In addition the funds, staff, and volunteers needed.


💰 Financial Support: Active Impact International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we are raising financial support to launch this as a full-time ministry. Financial contributions will allow us to plan effectively. Our goal is to raise financial support for us to get started and continue to grow the ministry as the Lord leads–Lord willing, go full time by summer of 2026. At this time we realize this will  be as Paul a “tent ministry”--we will work and do Active Impact, until, Lord willing, Active Impact can be done full time. We realize this is all in the Lord’s timing. How the funds are being used:

  • To implement projects that we can that are based on our mission/vision while not being full time

  • I am seeking to go full time with Active Impact

    • My goal is to raise support and pledges in order to go full time

🤝 Partnerships: We are seeking churches, schools, families, and individuals to help build strong partnerships that will sustain this ministry for the long term.
