Andrew Mitchell (Director of Athletics)
is a native of Hattiesburg, MS. Andrew received a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi College. After graduating he served as an assistant coach and teacher at Jackson Preparatory School. In the fall of 2017, Andrew joined the staff at Mt. Salus Christian School in Clinton, MS. As a member of the Active Impact team, Andrew will be using his athletic gifts as a coach to use sports as a tool to reach the local community of Clinton. He will have opportunity throughout the year to open the gym to the youth in the community to build relationships and share Christ. Our desire is to see this grow into a summer program. Additionally, Andrew will be coordinating summer basketball for community youth, as well as leading an international basketball mission trip with local high school players.
Andrew and his wife Paige have a 16 month old son.
Mary Kathryn Whittle (Counselor/ Therapist)
is a native of Clinton, MS. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University where she played basketball and received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Sport Pedagogy. Upon graduation, she spent three years teaching and coaching before returning to school where she received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2016. Mary Kathryn has a heart to use her counseling degree to reach those who may not be able to afford those services. She enjoys working with individuals and families to walk with them through the hurts of life to achieve healing while pointing them to the True Healer, Jesus Christ.
Mary Kathryn is married to her husband, Hunter and they have two daughters.
